FAVOURITE FOOD: VIENNA

Dear girls and boys, we want to thank you for all the lovely e-mails you write us with great feedback and with requests about what you want to see on the blog. And here we go, starting from today, we are answering your wishes and begin with one of our favourite topics: food! This post is about our favourite cafes and restaurants in Vienna. We have something for breakfast, lunch and dinner for you.

Breakfast: Café Français

This place offers everything you need: great location, tasty food and awesome service. We really like to go for breakfast there, but it has also a great menu for lunch and dinner. Make sure to check the times for both (in between you will be still able to order snacks - the warm filled baguettes are amazing!) and also it is better to book in advance, as we are not the only ones who fell in love with Café Français. :)
Our breakfast recommendation: Breakfast Bel Mondo with fresh orange juice and tea.

Breakfast: Cafe Aumann

As we grew up in the 18th district of Vienna, it won't surprise you that one of our favourite places is located there: Cafe Aumann
They have a really good selection of teas and we would definitely recommend the breakfast plate. If you are going there with kids, make sure to ask for the children breakfast plate, Sabinna's little sisters love it! :)

Lunch: Nasch

Nasch is located in the first disctrict, inside the Hilton Hotel, and offers a wide range of Austrian food. You should go there between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., as they are offering a special day menu, where you can select 3 plates out of 5 and pay only 8€ for everything. The portions are quite small, but as you are having 3 courses, you are definitely not leaving the restaurant hungry. :) What we also love about the place is that they have a special menu for kids. It has cute drawings of the food and children enjoy choosing their own food like that. Sabinna's sisters recommend the Chicken Nuggets with French Fries. :)

Dinner: Making Tapas

The cutest little place on earth with the best and nicest service, seriously. It is a very unusual mix between Spanish and Korean food. We are huge fans of both, but weren't sure in the beginning if the combination is going to work. Well, now we can say it does! During the day you can also have Take Away and probably it's good to make a reservation in advance, as the place is very small. Our personal recommendation: Empanada, Bibimbap and mixed Tapas plate.

In the next weeks we will also write about our favourite restaurants in London and Paris, stay tuned. :)

x and love from the 'broken-cookies planet'.
