When choosing an outfit, never underestimate little things such a the hair tie or clip, the choice of the bracelet or colour of the ring. These details are more important than we can imagine. Sabinna shows you some of her current favs - all pieces are very simple but special.
Sorry that we didn't post anything for a while, we have been super busy. As an excuse for this long absence we prepared your favourite special: From a painting! Today's artist choice is Ryan Pickart. We thought that Sabinna's DIY flower sweater looks very similar to the one the beautiful lady in the painting is wearing. So here is the outfit inspired from a painting.
So what is actually up in our lives? We thought it's time for a little catch up post to tell you what goes on in the life of Broken Cookies. :) We are back in London now and are excited about what comes ahead of us. As you know, Sabinna is studying BA Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins and after a year of working (first for Dior in Paris and then Mary Katrantzou in London) she is back to Central Saint Martins for her final year. David successfully graduated from Vienna University of Economics and Business and is now starting his MSc in Computer Science at UCL. So as you can see super busy times are waiting for us, but we promise we will keep you updated as much as possible and share with you our exciting journey. :) Today we have some polaroids for you, that we took back in Vienna. It's just so comfortable to use a Fuji Instant camera when you go out - it fits in every bag and creates amazing memories that you can straight away put up on your wall. :)
Those of you who follow us on Facebook and Instagram already know that we have been hanging around at Museumsquartier the last days. What did we do there? We checked out some sexy Austrian fashion shows during MQ Vienna Fashion Week.
Last weekend we went to Prague for a few days and were absolutely amazed by this lovely city. Last time we were there in 2009, which is quite a while ago. Thanks to our great readers we got so many awesome tips and we are excited to summarise them here for you and make your trip to Prague as magical as ours. :) In our photo dairy you will also find a few photos from Telč, a really cute little place we passed by on our way back to Vienna. It's definitely worth visiting, as it has some beautiful buildings and great food. :)

On Facebook we promised you a new 'From a painting' post this week - so here it is! This time Sabinna's outfit is inspired by an illustration by Katie Rodgers, better known under the name Paperfashion. It feels so good to wear such elegant clothes and hair! By the way, thanks for all the painting/drawing suggestions we got from you, we are currently selecting our favourites and recreating the looks. So stay tuned! :)
David loves to wear comfy shoes, while Sabinna prefers high heels, doesn't matter how much they hurt. :) It's always quite hard to find pretty flats, that would match Sabinna's wardrobe, but finally we solved this problem: Vans for girls and boys. We already showed you our special video for Sarenza, involving pretty sneakers for men, women and kids. Here another day without any feet ache - we can get used to that. :)
Recently Sabinna bought this coat, that turned out to be magical. It's not only warm and super soft, it also has an absolutely amazing graphical print. Additional to that Sabinna discovered its different sides - you can wear it as a coat, dress, half skirt and asymmetric dress. With a piece like that, it's not that hard to say goodbye to summer. :)
