CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS - ASPECTS PROJECT

Time for a project post! Sabinna's recent project at Central Saint Martins was about different aspects and details of clothes. Sabinna has chosen pockets and developed a small collection and a final piece out of it. She focused on pockets, methods of attachement, magnetfields and visually similar artpieces.

Her idea was to create a pocket that transforms to a part of garment by unfolding it. So that you have the possiblity to recreate a garment in a very short period of time. Also the fabric that was used for it, was created by Sabinna. Here are some outtakes of her sketchbook, her final design and final illustartions. We hope you like it!

NO COLOURS NEEDED.

LOST AND FOUND.

When you take so many photos every day like we do, it happens quite easily that some of them get "lost". After a while you start rearranging them and tadaaam, here they are: a lot of hidden treasures!

Oh, and by the way, we have some news for you: As you know we have been blogging between London and Vienna so far, but from now on we will be posting from London and Manchester, because David just moved there for the next 6 month! :) 

THE MACCABEES, LANA DEL REY, CHARLI XCX

Yesterday night we got ready to see 'THE MACCABEES', 'LANA DEL REY' and 'CHARLI XCX' live at the beautiful KOKO in London. You can imagine how huge the disappointment was when we found out that Lana cancelled an hour before the concert. Fortunately from this point on the evening got better. First we enjoyed the live performance of the wonderful Charli XCX, if you don't know her yet, it's time to! She is absolutely incredible on stage and has a great and powerful voice.

After Charli warmed us up we had the pleasure to listen to The Maccabees, who made us speechless. These boys really know how to perform and you could tell that they enjoyed every second with their fans. Of course we didn't forget to capture everything for you on photos. :)

IT DEPENDS ON THE VIEW.

We just can't get enough of our fantastic view from our balcony in London. Especially on days with clouds like these. We thought panorama photos would be the perfect way to show you what we see.

BITE MY APPLE.

Apples, robots, mickeys and pineapples are the new must haves for every party! :)

This weekend we gathered some friends at our place in London and had a magic fairy tale time!

WE NEED SUN TO GROW.

We need sun to grow, just like flowers, so during little breaks at uni it feels good to enjoy the first shafts of sunlight in this year. Unfortunately the view is still not perfect because the areas around Central Saint Martins are still under construction.

SPREAD LOVE.

Spring time = Love time

Well we agree, spring is still a bit far away, but looking at the weather in London we just can't think about winter anymore. So lets feel the spring and spread the love!

NIGHTS OUT OF BED.

It's birthday-party time! Oleg, a good friend of ours threw a party this weekend and invited us to join his celebrations. Unfortunately David couldn't come, but Sabinna and her camera went and captured some lovely moments for you.

LA SARDINA.

LA SARDINA (by Lomography) is the name of our camera that we deeply fell in love with a few months ago. Here are some recent photos that were made with this camera, we are happy with the outcomes, hope you too. ;)
