MASSIVE REVIEW OF 2013

Tomorrow is the last day of 2013, and traditionally we are ready for a review of this fantastic and busy year. Last year we made a review of 2012 by choosing our best moments from all blogposts. This year we decided to wrap up our memories with the help of our Instagram account. Can you imagine that we made 913 photos in 2013? It's insane! :) That's the proof that 2013 was one of the craziest and busiest years we ever had. As the blogpost name already says, the review is MASSIVE, so be aware that it might take you some time to look through the all the photos. So, let's start in the beginning: In 2013 ...

WISHES AND TIME

The year 2013 is slowly coming to an end and Christmas and New Year are not so far from us. We guess that we are not the only ones who are looking back and making plans for 2014 - what do we want to keep for longer and what do we want to change in the next year? Scrolling through old posts actually helps quite well to reflect on all the things that happened within just a year. 2013 was the year of travels and incredibly hard work. We decided to compare 2013 to 2012 and realised a significant difference: There was so much more party going on in 2012! Our label Nightlife is full of posts with awesome photos of us sneaking around the streets of London, Vienna, Manchester and Paris. Parties and nightlife is something that we were really missing out on in 2013. Maybe it's because we just got older, or maybe it's because we worked so hard this year, we don't know ... but what we do know is that it has to change for 2014! :) We want that awesome party faces back in our lives. Let's see how this will work out as I am currently on my final year at Central Saint Martins and David is going to graduate  in 2014 from his MSc at UCL. Does 2014 sound like party? Not really ... but we keep dreaming. :) To visualise our dreams we made a selection of our favourite nightlife photos from 2012. Enjoy! 

THE DAILY DOSE LAUNCH PARTY

Those of you who follow us on Instagram know that we have been exploring Vienna's party life a lot recently - for example last Thursday we were invited to the launch party of The Daily Dose, a new Austrian online lifestyle magazin for everyone who is looking for beautiful inspiration for both every day life and special moments. Delicious cocktails and ice cream, a perfect view over Vienna, super nice hosts and a bunch of lovely people - what more can you ask for? We had a great time and want to share some photos and a little Instagram video with you. (Photos 2,3,4 and 6 are by Felipe Kolm)

DISPOSABLES

We are back in Vienna and today we want to show you some analogue photos that we took with a disposable camera. It's not a secret that we have a whole collection of awesome cameras, that's why people are often surprised to see us using disposable ones. The reason why we love them too is really simple - you can party as hard as you want without being scared of loosing or breaking your favourite camera babes. Instead you have a one-night-stand with a disposable camera. :)

STROM CLUB IST 5 AT PRATERSAUNA

On Saturday we joined a bunch of party people and went to Pratersauna to celebrate Strom Club's 5th birthday. We were quite excited to join Vienna's nightlife again and to see the new renovated Pratersauna. It looks awesome: more space, more toilettes, more music and more fun. Just some of the staff could be more friendly and think about the good old times. Enough talking, time for some photos! ;)

KRIXI, KRAXI UND DIE KROXN

We are spending this weekend in Vienna and took the chance to see the concert of the young Austrian band Krixi, Kraxi und die Kroxn. Not only the name of the band sounds very special, also their music does. It is definitely worth it to check out their songs, especially for those of you who speak German, as their texts are quite funny and sentimental sometimes, both in a good way of course. At the concert yesterday they also got some support by a talanted young man who also has his own band, called PauT. Thanks to Kleiderkreisel for the lovely invite! So, girls and boys, don´t be shy, check out these 2 bands and spread some love! :)

ARMANI STORE OPENING

Yesterday was the opening party of the new Emporio Armani flagship store in Vienna and we were lucky to be invited to this fabulous event. The evening started with nice food and champagne. The highlight was definitely the live act by Ladyhawke! Although it was pretty crowded, the evening was really nice. OUR DISTRICT AT NIGHT.

Some of you might know, that we both grew up in the same district in Vienna, we even went to the same high school. And we have to admit it was a pleasure to spend the childhood here, in the lovely 18th district. We still love to hang out here, especially at night, when everyone is asleep and we have the streets for ourselves.

LOVEBOX - LANA DEL REY, TIGA AND MORE.

Last week we went to the amazing Lovebox festival in Victoria Park in London. Unfortunately we didn't have time to upload the photos earlier, so we are catching up now. We saw Patrick Wolf, Lana Del Rey, TIGA, Felix the Housecat and Grace Jones. As you can imagine it was beyond amazing and we enjoed every single act a lot. What have you been up to in the past few weeks?

FOOTBALL NIGHTS.

Finally it's time again for the European football championship! We love football and especially support the Russian team. Yesterday Russia played against Poland and we met up with Yvan and Kasia to watch the game. They brought more gorgeous football-fan-friends and the night turned out great. The game ended 1:1, so both sides had something to celebrate. :)

MANCHESTER AND LONDON NIGHTS.

We are in love with Manchester and London. Both cities have so much to offer and we spend days and nights discovering all the awesome places. Here are a few photos from our awesome sleepless England nights - costume parties in London and street parties in Manchester.

CHEAP MONDAY'S 90s TEENAGEDREAM HOUSE PARTY

Those who follow us on Facebook know already what we have been up to last Thursday: We went to the 90's teenagedream house party hosetd by Cheap Monday. David put on his Ninja Turtles T-shirt and his denim jacket, while Sabinna was all Spice Girls in her head and decided to stick with the girly/grungy 90's look. We had an absolutely awesome time with our friends and enjoyed the free drinks a lot, but we still must admit that not every single detail was great at the party. The queueing system at the door was horrible and the toilets sucked a lot. We hope that the organiser keep it in mind for the next party, which we are already looking forward to. :)
Also some exciting news for next week:  We are going to Paris Fashion Week and will update you from there. So make sure you stay tuned and don't miss the fashion trends from Paris!

WANNA HAVE A BITE?

First of all: Happy Valentine's day everybody! We don't have a special post for this day as we prefered to share some Valentines feelings on our facebook page, but of course we still want to thank you all for the love you give us, it means a lot to us. We love you!

THE MACCABEES, LANA DEL REY, CHARLI XCX

Yesterday night we got ready to see 'THE MACCABEES', 'LANA DEL REY' and 'CHARLI XCX' live at the beautiful KOKO in London. You can imagine how huge the disappointment was when we found out that Lana cancelled an hour before the concert. Fortunately from this point on the evening got better. First we enjoyed the live performance of the wonderful Charli XCX, if you don't know her yet, it's time to! She is absolutely incredible on stage and has a great and powerful voice.

After Charli warmed us up we had the pleasure to listen to The Maccabees, who made us speechless. These boys really know how to perform and you could tell that they enjoyed every second with their fans. Of course we didn't forget to capture everything for you on photos. :)

BITE MY APPLE.

Apples, robots, mickeys and pineapples are the new must haves for every party! :)

This weekend we gathered some friends at our place in London and had a magic fairy tale time!
