VINTAGE TREASURES IN LONDON

I love to look at clothes from other decades and get inspired by all the little details. That's why at least once a month I would make a tour through my favourite vintage places in London and hunt some treasures. Sometimes I am lucky to find a piece that I was looking for since ages. Just like it happened with these 2 gorgeous dresses, that you see in the photos. Both of them are original pieces from the 70s and are a great enrichment for my little vintage collection of clothes that I have so far. One day I am hoping to own a whole archive of these amazing garments that reflect the history of fashion. For those who are living in London or planning a trip to this magic place soon, here a little selection of my favourtite vintage stores:

1. Rellik8 Golborne Road, North Kensington, W10 5NW
2. Lucy in Disguise: 48 Lexington Street, Carnaby, W1F 0LR
3. Beyond Retro: 58-59 Great Marlborough Street, Central London, W1F 7JY
4. Blackout II51 Endell Street, Covent Garden, WC2H 9AJ

  6. Your post reminds me that I loved to match yellow and pink shades in summer. I'm still looking for a winter piece that combines both. Until then, I keep wearing my beloved summer dress with tights :D

    1. it's kind of hard to find nice colourful pieces for winter. I usually end up wearing black and dark blue and dark red in winter. :) But u are right, pink and yellow looks really good together! Btw I love your turquois/blue vintage dress, that I saw in one of your posts :) xx

  7. Oh man! Miss London my love so much. I visited all the vintage shops mentioned above frequently even though it wasnt my personal style i loved rummaging through all the clothes for the same reason why you love to wear them: its like you are being warped into the 60s or 70s or 80s...so inspiring!

  8. These dresses look so fun! I love that you're experimental with patterns and color. And re: your last post, I definitely agree that more party adventures are worth making the time for.
