REMEMBER WHEN ...

.. we went to Paris a while ago? It was a quick business trip to source fabrics for Sabinna's final collection. But also a business trip can be combined with pleasure, so here a few impressions from our little trip. By the way, we stayed in a very lovely hotel, called Hotel Josephine, that might be of interest to some of you who intend to travel to Paris any time soon. It's super duper tiny but very clean and quite. And the loction is not bad either, walk distance from Dare du Nord, very comfy when you come by Eurostar. :)

OH PARIS - PART 2

Yesterday we showed you the first part of our awesome Paris trip, and as we promised, here is the second part! As you can see we managed to do quite a lot within this weekend - 3 museums, 5 restaurants, a million walks through 2 million streets and also some shopping of course. :) While editing the photos we were again hit by the wish to go back to Paris as soon as possible. So don't be surprised to meet us on the streets of Paris in 2014! :)

OH PARIS - PART 1

Those of you who follow us on Instagram and/or Facebook know that we spent an amazing weekend in Paris. We had sort of a family reunion there, as my (Sabinna) mum and sisters came to Paris from Vienna and met us there. I (Sabinna) used to live in Paris for a while and David came quite a lot to visit me, so we both know the city and its treasures quite well. Also we have to admit that we go there quite a lot for things like Paris Fashion Week, or to see wonderful places like the Louis Vuitton workshop and museum or to Sample Sales by Dior, Givenchy, etc... . Nevertheless we simply LOVE to come back for food, all the gorgeous museums and the outstanding beauty that Paris has to offer. When you live in London it's super easy to get to Paris with the Eurostar train - 2 hours and you are there! Amazing, isn't it? :) So we packed some pretty clothes and the most comfortable shoes we have and jumped on the train. Today we want to show you the first part of our lovely Paris trip, including some photos from Centre Pompidou. PARIS PHOTO DIARY

As some of you know, we went to Paris last weekend for a little exciting thing with Dior. It was really weird to be back in this city, because the last time we were in Paris, Sabinna actually lived and worked there. We definitely enjoyed being tourists again and didn't miss out on the delicious food. We brought back great memories and a little photo diary, we hope you like it! :) 

LA SARDINA AROUND THE WORLD

We love our La Sardina and we take her with us, wherever we go. This year she travelled to Paris, Vienna, Disneyland, Khao Lak and Bangkok. And here are the lovely souvenirs she brought with her! ;)

FREEZING LEOPARD.

It has been super cold in Paris for the past few weeks, so we tried to hide inside and just leave our home if it was super necessary. But the beauty of Paris keeps calling us, so we decided to cuddle up in warm clothes and to walk around the city. Of course we brought our camera with us, so that you, dear girls and boys, can have these walks with us! :)

BACK ON THE PLANET

We know, we have been horrible bloggers recently, no posts for quite a while and we are truly sorry about it. We had a stressful and busy time but we will try harder to update you more in the next weeks, starting right now. :) We are in Paris at the moment, enjoying a cold but lovely weather and getting ready for Christmas. What have you been up to in the past few days?

DIY - TEDDY CLUTCH

Teddys are cute, always, no matter how old you are. That's why Sabinna decided to make a Teddy clutch, so she has an excuse to take this cutie out for a walk from time to time.

ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RIVER

Sabinna lives and works on one side of the river and that's why she hardly ever crosses Seine to visit the other side. Which is actually a shame, as there are a lot of lovely places. For example on the roof of the store Printemps you can not only have a great breakfast, but also enjoy a gorgeous view over Paris!

KEEP WALKING

Sabinna has to move out of her flat very soon and is looking for a new place to stay. The best way to find one is to keep walking through Paris and keep the eyes wide open. :)

ON THE ROOF

The weather in Paris has been absolutely horrible in the past few days. It seems like the rain doesn't want to stop and the freezing wind is not making it any better. But the crazy thing is that Paris still manages to look beautiful. One of the best places to enjoy a great view over the city is the roof of Centre Pompidou. 

SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN

The winter is coming and we are so not ready for that. In our heads we are somewhere between summer and the lovely days of fall. But we guess we have to stick with the nature and get some warm clothes.

CATCH SOME AIR.

Sabinna is working quite a lot and that's why she doesn't spend that much time outside in the fresh air. So when she has a day off, she really enjoys being outside, catching some air and forming birds out of her fluffy fur scarf.

PLACE DES VOSGES

Just a few minutes walk from our flat is a wonderful and beautiful square called Place des Vosges. It is definitely nicer to go there on a lovely sunny day, which unfortunately wasn't the case today. But a walk through it is always worth it. :)

IN THE MIDDLE OF COLOURS

Paris is treating us well, whenever there is a spare minute, we enjoy beauitful places around the city and are always excited to share them with you. Our good friend Åsa is also living in Paris at the moment, so we visited her in the 18th district, where everything seems to be super pretty and colourful. See for yourself! :)

VINTAGE SHOPPING IN PARIS.

Today we have some secondhand/vintage shopping tips for your next trip to Paris. The next time you are in this city you should definitely check out Guerrisol and Chine Machine. Guerrisol is located on Avenue de Clichy and offers everything from underwear to fur coats. Don't be shocked when you see it for the first time, as it's very chaotic. You should take your time and look through everything, because the treasures are hidden between a lot of crappy clothes. But believe us, it is worth the time, you will definitely find something that you love. Plus the prices are beyond amazing, dresses and jumpers for 3€, shoes for 10€.
The other vintage store is called Chine Machine and is waiting for you on 100 Rue de Martyrs. A wide range of amazing vintage clothes, shoes and accessoires will blow your mind, we promise! Everything about this store is super chic: location, music, sale assistants... we just loved it there! Of course we didn't forget to take pictures of both places plus Sabinna's findings and are more than happy to share them with you. :)
