BACK ON THE PLANET

We know, we have been horrible bloggers recently, no posts for quite a while and we are truly sorry about it. We had a stressful and busy time but we will try harder to update you more in the next weeks, starting right now. :) We are in Paris at the moment, enjoying a cold but lovely weather and getting ready for Christmas. What have you been up to in the past few days?

CHRISTKINDLMARKT, WE LOVE YOU!

Christmas time is always awesome, especially because we are not only getting ready for Christmas- and New Year-celebrations but also for David's birthday. And what are the most important things? Food and Christmas sparkles of course! The perfect place in this case is the Christkindlmarkt in Vienna. If you are in the city any time soon, don't miss out on this fabulous place! We saw a few similar markets in Paris and are going to check out some of them for you very soon, so stay tuned. :)

KRIXI, KRAXI UND DIE KROXN

We are spending this weekend in Vienna and took the chance to see the concert of the young Austrian band Krixi, Kraxi und die Kroxn. Not only the name of the band sounds very special, also their music does. It is definitely worth it to check out their songs, especially for those of you who speak German, as their texts are quite funny and sentimental sometimes, both in a good way of course. At the concert yesterday they also got some support by a talanted young man who also has his own band, called PauT. Thanks to Kleiderkreisel for the lovely invite! So, girls and boys, don´t be shy, check out these 2 bands and spread some love! :)

DIY - TEDDY CLUTCH

Teddys are cute, always, no matter how old you are. That's why Sabinna decided to make a Teddy clutch, so she has an excuse to take this cutie out for a walk from time to time.

ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RIVER

Sabinna lives and works on one side of the river and that's why she hardly ever crosses Seine to visit the other side. Which is actually a shame, as there are a lot of lovely places. For example on the roof of the store Printemps you can not only have a great breakfast, but also enjoy a gorgeous view over Paris!

ARMANI STORE OPENING

Yesterday was the opening party of the new Emporio Armani flagship store in Vienna and we were lucky to be invited to this fabulous event. The evening started with nice food and champagne. The highlight was definitely the live act by Ladyhawke! Although it was pretty crowded, the evening was really nice. KEEP WALKING

Sabinna has to move out of her flat very soon and is looking for a new place to stay. The best way to find one is to keep walking through Paris and keep the eyes wide open. :)

ON THE ROOF

The weather in Paris has been absolutely horrible in the past few days. It seems like the rain doesn't want to stop and the freezing wind is not making it any better. But the crazy thing is that Paris still manages to look beautiful. One of the best places to enjoy a great view over the city is the roof of Centre Pompidou. 

SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN

The winter is coming and we are so not ready for that. In our heads we are somewhere between summer and the lovely days of fall. But we guess we have to stick with the nature and get some warm clothes.

KILO SHOP PARIS

Recently we told you about some lovely vintage shops in Paris. Turns out there are a lot more of them here! This time we checked out the Kilo Shop for you, which has an absolutely amazing concept: Instead of paying a fixed price for every item, you pay for each kilo you buy. Great, right? The clothes are divided in groups, so the prices for a kilo variates. If you are in Paris now or any time soon this is where you find the store: 69-71 rue de la verrerie, 75004 Paris. CATCH SOME AIR.

Sabinna is working quite a lot and that's why she doesn't spend that much time outside in the fresh air. So when she has a day off, she really enjoys being outside, catching some air and forming birds out of her fluffy fur scarf.

DIY - HAIR-EARRINGS

As you all know Sabinna has a little blonde part in her hair and loves to experiment with it. As it can be very annoying to dye your hair all the time and damage it, we thought about a possibility of having some colour and keeping the hair safe. We came up with the idea of hair-earrings and decided to share a little DIY with you.

NEW MONTHLY SPECIAL - INSPIRATION FROM THE PAST

Most of you know that we love to dig in the past and get inspired by times that are already gone. That's why we started to collect old vintage photos. We buy them in different countries, on different markets and absolutely love to look at them and think about the people on it - how their lives were and who or what they loved. Also it is very inspiring to look at the clothes of the past decades and to adore the gorgeous ladies with their beautiful hair-dos. This makes us think about our future and what people are going to think by looking at our photos from today. So from no one we will upload 2 vintage photos each month and share like this our entire collection with you. We thought it would be nice to start with some couples. :)

PLACE DES VOSGES

Just a few minutes walk from our flat is a wonderful and beautiful square called Place des Vosges. It is definitely nicer to go there on a lovely sunny day, which unfortunately wasn't the case today. But a walk through it is always worth it. :)

FROM FALL TO FALL

Time flies by so so fast, you realise it the most by looking at photos from last years. That's why we decided to look back at the last fall and the one before and also the one before. All the great memories make us very excited about the future and what next fall will bring, but let's enjoy this one for now! :)

DIY - 3D-FLOWER SWEATER

The summer is gone, but it's so hard to let go of it. To keep the summer feeling for a little longer, Sabinna decided to make herself a cute flower sweater.

We showed you the result here and promised to share with you all the details of how to do one for yourself. So here it is!

IN THE MIDDLE OF COLOURS

Paris is treating us well, whenever there is a spare minute, we enjoy beauitful places around the city and are always excited to share them with you. Our good friend Åsa is also living in Paris at the moment, so we visited her in the 18th district, where everything seems to be super pretty and colourful. See for yourself! :)

VINTAGE SHOPPING IN PARIS.

Today we have some secondhand/vintage shopping tips for your next trip to Paris. The next time you are in this city you should definitely check out Guerrisol and Chine Machine. Guerrisol is located on Avenue de Clichy and offers everything from underwear to fur coats. Don't be shocked when you see it for the first time, as it's very chaotic. You should take your time and look through everything, because the treasures are hidden between a lot of crappy clothes. But believe us, it is worth the time, you will definitely find something that you love. Plus the prices are beyond amazing, dresses and jumpers for 3€, shoes for 10€.
The other vintage store is called Chine Machine and is waiting for you on 100 Rue de Martyrs. A wide range of amazing vintage clothes, shoes and accessoires will blow your mind, we promise! Everything about this store is super chic: location, music, sale assistants... we just loved it there! Of course we didn't forget to take pictures of both places plus Sabinna's findings and are more than happy to share them with you. :)

PARIS THE FIRST

Finally a Paris-post! Sabinna is working day and night, so we didn't have the possibility to share our Paris impressions earlier. Anyways, here are the first shots of Sabinna hanging around on the streets of Paris. :)

When you take so many analogue pictures, there are always a few that get lost in between and don't make it to the blog in the end. That's actually a shame, so we went through some of them again, and look what we found: A bunch of awesome photos that we love and that shouldn't be hidden! :)

COLD AND TIRED.

So dear girls and boys, we told you a few times already that we are in Paris at the moment, but we never told you what we are doing here. Sabinna just moved to the city of love and is going to work here at Dior for a while. It takes time to get used to a new city, all the stress makes us feel a bit cold and tired. But the good thing is that the weather changes give Sabinna the possibility to wear her favourite comfy jumpers. See for yourself!

2 YEARS OF BROKEN COOKIES!!

Today is our birthday and we are turning 2!! We thought it's the perfect time for a review and to thank all our loyal readers! It is a pleasure to read all your lovely comments and without your great support this blog wouldn't be what it is now! So again A BIG THANK YOU to all of you, dear girls and boys! Oh girls and boys, we are in love with Greece! From day to day we discover new awesome and beautiful places that are absolutely breathtaking! Only two days left , then we are unfortunately heading back. In the meantime, we are sharing with you the photos of our trip. We hope you like them. :)

GREECE BEAUTY

Finally we both are having holidays and are travelling again!! Last week we went to Styria (Austria) and now we are chilling in Greece. Of course we won't keep from you our first shots from this gorgeous country, so we are updating you right from the beach. SABINNA'S HAIR-DOS.

Sabinna loves to wear her hair massive, tight together to buns or decorated with crowns. As some of you requested tutorials on how Sabinna does her hair, we decided to pick her favourite looks and show them on her adorable little twin-sisters. TREES AND BEES.

Nature is absolutely awesome and beautiful, especially in Austria. Last weekend we decided to have some rest and escape the city to enjoy flowers, trees and ponds. And as we never forget to bring our camera with us, we took these lovely picture to bring some nature on your computer screens.

Some of you might know, that we both grew up in the same district in Vienna, we even went to the same high school. And we have to admit it was a pleasure to spend the childhood here, in the lovely 18th district. We still love to hang out here, especially at night, when everyone is asleep and we have the streets for ourselves.

SABINNA IN PERFECT SNAP - JAPAN

You should check out the current issue of the japanese fashion magazine Perfect Snap, because Sabinna is in it! Sabinna was asked to show seven outfits, one for every day in the week. Additional to that she talked about every outfit and what she likes about it. We guess you are not surprised to see massive hair and tons of accessoires all over Sabinna. We are thrilled and super happy about this feature, how do you like it?

We told you already a few times about our favourite analogue baby Minox. We take her with us everywhere and after a while, when the film is finally ready for development, we get crazy excited to see the outcomes and to share them with you! :)

DISNEYLAND - DREAMS OF THE DREAMS.

Just came back from Disneyland, Paris - and to be honest there are no words to describe this dream place! Sabinna felt like a real princess and her little sisters couldn't get enough from all the cute stuff over there. To meet Mickey and his friends was the cherry on the top of all of this. Of course we brought some photos for you and we hope you can feel the magic we felt!

Last week we went to the amazing Lovebox festival in Victoria Park in London. Unfortunately we didn't have time to upload the photos earlier, so we are catching up now. We saw Patrick Wolf, Lana Del Rey, TIGA, Felix the Housecat and Grace Jones. As you can imagine it was beyond amazing and we enjoed every single act a lot. What have you been up to in the past few weeks?

CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS - TAILORING PROJECT

We know, it has been a looong time since our last post and we are truly sorry for that! Last weeks were crazy busy and exams made our life hard, but now it's all over for a while and you will see more of us. :) Today we share with you the outcome of Sabinna's latest project at Central Saint Martins. She designed a suit mainly inspired by the work of Hans Bellmer. The suit is made out of a curtain-fabric. 

FOOTBALL NIGHTS.

Finally it's time again for the European football championship! We love football and especially support the Russian team. Yesterday Russia played against Poland and we met up with Yvan and Kasia to watch the game. They brought more gorgeous football-fan-friends and the night turned out great. The game ended 1:1, so both sides had something to celebrate. :)

PRINCESS PROBLEMS.

Sabinna is David's princess, we guess you all know that if you follow us on facebook. And what does the princess love the most? David and candies!! But candies can be very dangerous. You may not see it, but the power of candy has its dark side. See for yourself.
